Giving & Stewardship

"Everything comes from you, and of your own do we give you."
God is a generous giver. He gives us our needs each day, without fail, and his greatest gift is Jesus. What can we give back?
In gratitude for his many gifts, we can give back our time, talents and money and so spread his good news of love and salvation through our church's work in Ottershaw.

We have a continuing need to support this work and the work of those living further afield. In recent years we have committed ourselves to increasing activities and support of young people living locally. And we have a historic church to maintain where worship and many other community activities take place.

We give a proportion of our income to charities and mission organisations. Currently we support:Church Mission SocietyFive TalentsChristian AidToyboxSchools Christian Action TeamHomestart Runnymede
We also support a child in India through Compassion UK.

So how can you help?By giving regularly of your time, talents and moneyBy giving under Gift Aid so that the Inland Revenue helps our church with an additional 25% tax refund (if you are a taxpayer)By a one-off giftBy remembering us in your willBy making a financial promise for the year on Stewardship Sunday

Every person's circumstances are different and we ask that you prayerfully consider what commitment you are able to make. However large or small, your gifts will help to further God's work at Christ Church and He will surely be glorified.
