Getting Involved
|
 |
If you'd like to get involved,
do come along to one of our Sunday Services and meet us. There
are different types of services, some informal and some more
traditional, so it is worth coming more than once! When you
come, you will find details of other church activities in the
entrance hall. There are lots of posters and leaflets to browse
through and, more importantly, lots of people to meet.
Each Sunday morning we serve tea and coffee after
the service which is a good opportunity to meet people informally.
We hope you will feel welcome at the church - it is here for you.
We regularly have a Traidcraft fair trade stall where you can
buy tea, coffee and other third world products in the knowledge
that the producers have been fairly rewarded for their labour.
You may like to join one of our home
groups or there are many other ways to be involved, such as helping
with our children’s and youth groups, supporting our work
with overseas mission, being involved with our Sunday worship
or serving on our Parish Church Council and its working groups
and committees. There is a lot going on and you are very welcome
to join in.
What we are praying for
The situation in Asia following the earthquake
Peace in all areas of conflict - especially for
Iraq , the Holy Land and Sudan
Healing for all who are ill - All those who feel
the loss of loved ones
