Every Sunday a Book of Common Prayer
Communion Service.
This is a quiet reflective service using traditional language.
Hymns and a sung setting are used on the 1st Sunday of each month.
10.30am
A Contemporary service
A relaxed and family-friendly service
to which newcomers are
particularly welcome. On the first Sunday of the month, everyone,
including children worship together.
On other Sundays children
spend part of the service in their own groups. Twice a month
this service includes Holy Communion.
6.30pm
Evening services
On the first Sunday of each month
there is an informal
Prayer and Praise Service. Occasionally we hold special services
details of which will be advertised

Children and Young People
Children and young people are welcome
to all our services.
At the 10.30am service a creche is
available for those who are aged 0 to 3 and for those aged 3 upwards
there is a 'Godly Play' teaching group. There are activities for
children aged 7 upwards at Youth Clubs on Monday and Tuesday evenings.

baptised we would be delighted to discuss this with you.
Schools
We have two church schools in the
village and leaders from Christ Church run the Noah's Ark Club in
Marshfields Infant School and the Xstream Club in Christ Church
Junior School.
Pastoral Care
The pastoral care team visit people
in their homes and offer a friendly face, a listening ear and a
willingness to pray if that is what the person would like.

times a year. It contains a wide range of articles from religious

Christ Church is a Fair Trade Church
We have agreed to use Fair trade
tea and coffee for all meetings for which we have responsibility.
Move forward on using other Fair trade products (such as sugar,
biscuits and fruit). Promote Fair trade during Fair trade Fortnight
- and through other activities.
Music
Christ Church believes music is an
important part of worship.
We have a choir and a music group
and a team of bellringers
